Your AUSkey password cannot be reset. If you cannot remember it, you will need to register for a new AUSkey and follow the instructions below.
If you have more than one AUSkey on your computer or USB stick they will all be deleted during this process and you will need to register for them again.
Step 1 - Register for a new AUSkey.
Step 2 - Set up on a computer
Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to ‘Install your AUSkey’. If you have the required software already installed the link will take you to a page called ‘Install AUSkey’.
Step 2 - Set up on a USB stick
Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to ‘Install your AUSkey’. Copy and paste the link in the AUSkey browser on the USB stick.

Step 3 - Enter the activation code you received when registering.
Step 4 - Confirm your details.
Step 5 - You will also be asked to enter your password. Enter a new password with a minimum of 10 characters including at least one uppercase, one lower case and one number or punctuation symbol. The first two times you enter the new password it will be rejected.
Step 6 - The third time you enter your password you will see a message ‘Delete your AUSkeys’. Select next to confirm.
This will delete all AUSkeys from your computer or USB stick.
Step 7 - Enter and confirm your new password.
Step 8 - Once your AUSkey has been successfully installed you will be able to log in to online services.
