ABR Connect is a suite of web services offered to eligible government agencies, to retrieve live ABR non-public data. This non-public data also includes public data.
You need to confirm your agency's eligibility to access non-public ABR data.
Currently there are two services within this program, ABR Agency Connect and ABR Identifier Search.
ABR Agency Connect is the new ‘read only’ web service, released in a BETA 1 format on 10 February 2018. This service will be subsequently released in BETA 2 mid 2018.
By accessing data items from the ABR, agencies no longer need to duplicate this information in separate databases. They can store ABNs in their systems and access the ABR for all other core business information.
Our aim is for the ABR to be the single nationally recognised directory for managing business identity information. Using the ABR as a shared national asset will significantly reduce the burden on business in terms of time, cost, and reporting to government.
The ABR provides a system-to-system web service to eligible government agencies to retrieve public and non-public details of Australian Business Register (ABR) records.
This page helps participating government agencies know who to contact during the implementation and post-implementation phases of integration with the Australian Business Register (ABR).
