    19 February 2015 - If you have moved your business premises to another location don’t forget you need to update your ABN details in the Australian Business Register (ABR).

    It is your responsibility to keep your ABN details current so that others can verify who they are dealing with.

    Keeping your information up-to-date also helps to ensure your business can be considered in local, state and federal decision making.

    Government agencies use ABN information to:

    • provide advice about new services, grants or law changes
    • provide help in case of natural disasters
    • simplify licensing and registration requirements.
