The Australian Business Register (ABR) recently had a unique opportunity to host the Sultanate of Oman’s Infrastructure and eService Division who visited Australia in late May. The delegation was here to discuss the use of the ABR, Standard Business Reporting (SBR) and AUSkey.
The exchange of information over the course of three days included discussion around the Australian Government’s mission to build a strong and prosperous economy for a safe and secure Australia, by cutting red tape and increasing productivity.
The Oman delegation shared information on their ‘Invest Easy’ program that provided all attendees an oversight into their national technology initiatives and their business register.
During the visit a number of other presentations were made by additional parties and including the Australian Business Software Industry Association (ABSIA) and the federal Department of Industry and Science.
It was a successful visit, and hopefully one of many to share ideas and successes and learn in an international context.
